Louise Gillis

Louise is an accomplished Minnesota artist and art teacher. She is a five year graduate of Atelier LeSeuer with additional training at Atelier Lack. Additionally, Louise has studied art internationally in Tokyo, Japan and Madrid, Spain.
She was artist-in-residence at the Adzak in Paris, France; the Black Hills, S.D. and Maui, Hawaii.
Working in various mediums, her summers are spent landscape painting and winters on portraiture and still life. Louise recently completed a mural of a vibrant bistro scene at the Amsterdam Bistro and Bar in the Minneapolis Warehouse District.

Louise teaches realistic painting and drawing at Edina Art Center.
