AARON FAHRMANN
Aaron Fahrmann brings more than 20 years experience in commercial and
fine art photography to the classroom. An expert in a wide variety of
studio and location techniques, he teaches both film and digital
photography. Some of his greatest influences continue to be the master
street photographers and abstractionists whose work has shaped
contemporary photographic practice. He holds a bachelor's degree in
Studio Arts/Photography and a master's degree in Art-Science Innovation
from the University of Minnesota.
“In addition to my street photography and nature-scapes of Lake Nokomis,
I create installation projects that fuse aspects of the arts and
theories from science. I am very interested in exploring time,
synchrony, chaos and complexity as they influence our daily experiences
of the world. Many of these scientific events go unnoticed, yet they are
integral to our lives. I try to amplify and expose them through my art
installations and photographic work,” he said.
