The Edina Art Center is pleased to announce the 2009 winners of "The Nature of Tile," a special exhibition in celebration of the National Tile Conference and the eighth-annual Minnesota Tile Festival, which took place this fall.

The organizer of the events was The Handmade Tile Association. It is a membership and volunteer group of independent and diverse tile artists, working in handmade tile, mosaics, tile history, tile setters, tile showrooms, galleries, tile organization, material supplier, classes, design services and tile-related fields all across the country.

The Association's intent it to allow easier access to the tile artists and the resources around them to better serve the public, tile setters, designers, contractors, architects and organizations of the community and beyond.
