2010 Juried Exhibition
“26th Annual Members’ Juried Art Exhibition” features artwork created by Edina
Art Center members of all levels, from beginning to professional.
2009 Juried Art Show WinnersCongratulations to the winners of the 25th-Annual Members' Juried Art Exhibition!
We would also like to thank all of the volunteers and other sponsors who made
this even possible. New KVT Trio provided the music underwritten by Heather
Randall King and Ruth Valgemae, Megan Norman Photography donated the photography
and the ikebana floral arrangements were donated by Two Branches Design. Special
treats of mocha truffles were donated by Renee Usem Truffles. Juried Art show Eligibility RequirementsELIGIBILITY Open to all members of the Edina Art Center. You may join the
Center by submitting a completed membership form and membership fee along with
the Juried Show entry form and fees. Works accepted into previous EAC Juried
Shows are not eligible. MEDIA. You may enter an unlimited number of works in any medium. Enter actual
work — no slides. CONDITIONS. All two-dimensional artwork must be framed, excluding wrapped canvas, and ready to hang with wire. Watercolors, pastels and photographs must be under glass or Plexiglas. Artwork must be original. Copies of published photos are not acceptable. Work done in the classroom must be executed solely by the student.
ENTRY FEES Entry fee is $10 per entry, or $25 for three entries, payable to
Edina Art Center. Include total payment with registration TO ENTER. Use form on page 18. Mail or Fax completed entry form, a check or
money order with the correct entry fee, membership DELIVERY OF ARTWORK. Each entry must have an identification label attached to
the back upper left hand corner or to INSURANCE. Every reasonable care will be taken in handling work submitted,
but no responsibility is assumed by the Edina Art SALES. Sales of artwork will be handled by the Edina Art Center for a 35
percent commission. If work is not for sale, mark “NFS” on the JUDGING. Entries will be judged and displayed without regard to media groups.
All entries will be displayed and the best work in AWARDS Up to $750 in cash awards will be given to selected winners including
the Betsy Bryant Pottery award for outstanding PEER AWARD. Each entrant will receive a ballot to select their first and
second choice for the best piece in the show from among all OPENING RECEPTION. Public WELCOME!! Thursday, Sept. 30, 5 to 8 p.m. Judges’
critique 6 p.m.
