Explorer Post 925
The Edina/Eden Prairie Explorer Post #925 is open to young men and women ages
14 (and completed the 8th grade) through 20 with an interest in
learning more about careers in law enforcement.
The Explorer program
provides educational training for young adults on the purposes, mission, and
objectives of law enforcement. The program provides career orientation
experiences, leadership opportunities and community service activities. The
primary goals of the program are to help young adults choose a career path
within law enforcement and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of
their communities.
The Edina/Eden Prairie Explorer Post meets weekly on
Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the South Metro Training Center, 7525
Braemar Blvd.
Nationally, over 33,000 Explorers and 8,425 adult volunteers participate in Law
Enforcement Exploring.
The program highlights include:

- The National Law Enforcement Exploring Leadership Academies
- Ride-alongs
- Career achievement awards
- National Law Enforcement Exploring Conferences
- Scholarship opportunities
Every year the Edina/Eden Prairie Explorer Post travels to Rochester in the
