VIDEO PRODUCTION INTERN
The City of Edina is accepting applications for the
position of part-time video production intern for the summer, beginning in
May or June. This is a learning position, with an emphasis on a
wide variety of technical and production duties, primarily the broadcasting
of meetings and taping of public service announcements and three original
programs, “In Edina,” “Agenda: Edina,” and “Beyond the Badge.”
Requirements: minimum one year experience in video production, video
editing, and computer graphics; ability to operate equipment for cable
television programming; valid driver’s license and good driving record;
available to work varied schedule, including both days and evenings; ability
to work independently, provide self-direction and communicate effectively;
intermediate or higher level skill with Microsoft Office, Final Cut Pro,
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects; ability to multi-task; ability to
operate, maintain and troubleshoot relevant equipment; ability to meet
physical requirements of the position.
Starting wage is $11.81 per hour. Intern may work up to 24 hours per week.
